Overview

During sign-up for the Lyndung Community Sharing Programme (the "Programme"), you are required to provide us with personal data. By doing so, you confirm that you understand and consent to Lyndung collecting, using, transferring, and processing that data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual from the data in Lyndung's possession. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, gender, address, NRIC number, telephone number, and email address ("Personal Data"). Personal Data may also include sensitive information such as your medical history and physical or mental health status.

The Personal Data required to provide our services is given voluntarily. However, failure to provide the required data may negatively affect your participation in the Programme or any other programme offered by Lyndung.

How We Collect Your Data

When you voluntarily share information directly or indirectly by entering details yourself or providing them verbally during sign-up or other interactions with Lyndung.
When you communicate with Lyndung, its representatives, affiliates, or other Programme participants, including when you send us enquiries.
When we obtain your medical history, medical reports, or health status from your existing medical doctor.
When you respond to our requests for additional information or replies to your enquiries.
When you access Lyndung's mobile apps and perform online transactions.
When you respond to or are contacted by our telemarketers.

How Your Data May Be Used

To process your application to participate in the Programme.
To give you access to website or app content.
For administrative purposes.
To communicate with you, including responding to your enquiries.
To process claims and payments for medical services.
To manage and maintain your account and the Programme's accounts.
To carry out transactions related to the Programme.
To provide information to regulators and government bodies in order to comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
For Lyndung to comply with its obligations under Malaysian law.
To disclose certain Personal Data, including sensitive personal data, to members of the Lyndung Community Sharing Programme when you are admitted under the Programme. This may include your name, a camouflaged IC showing only the first eight digits, your admission and discharge dates, the amount of bill submitted for community sharing, and a simple description of your illness.
For other purposes disclosed at the time of collection and directly associated with Lyndung.

Disclosure of Data

Lyndung will not purposely disclose your Personal Data. However, Lyndung may share your personal information with the following parties, inside or outside Malaysia, on a need-to-know basis and without prior consent where permitted for the purposes below:

For the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy.
To affiliates and third-party service providers, such as email hosting and online marketing providers, who are required to treat your Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
In connection with any reorganisation or restructuring of the Programme, including arrangements involving Lyndung's affiliates, joint ventures, or partnerships.
To unaffiliated third parties in crucial circumstances where Lyndung needs to protect its rights, interests, property, privacy, employees, or affiliates.
When required by law or mandated by regulators.
To our employees and affiliates on a need-to-know basis, or where you have provided consent.

Lyndung reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to amend, update, or modify this Privacy Policy. Amendments will be notified by updating the "Last updated on" date on this page.

Any such changes, updates, or modifications will take effect immediately upon posting, and Lyndung encourages you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
